I used it once, to install the latest drivers, and i had nothing but issue's. Like i said before, i've been using it for years, and it never caused any issue's on my end, in fact Geforce Experience is like plague. You're just uninstalling a program and drivers why bother with this?īecause i like to freshly install drivers each time a new driver comes out.
Anything telling you to exclude it's folder from a virus scan seems pretty suspect in my opinion. It works just fine without all of those warnings and preparation. I'll hedge my bets with Windows uninstall. It is best to exclude the DDU folder completely from any security software to avoid issues. Make a backup or a system restore (but it should normally be pretty safe). If you are using DDU in normal mode, Clean, reboot, clean again, reboot. The tool can be used in Normal mode but for absolute stability when using DDU, Safemode is always the best. Please install in a local drive (C:, D: or else).
